Power & Efficiency

The new 2.0 litre turbocharged EA888 4- cylinder engine with 8-speed automatic transmission delivers 201 HP - a 17 HP increase from last year. Lighter by 77 kg compared to the 2024 model, the 2025 Tiguan offers better acceleration, fuel economy, and increased towing capacity of 1,800 lbs. The start/stop system with regenerative braking further increases the efficiency for a combined 9.3L/100 km fuel rating*.
